This solidly charming and uniquely sized silver mid-century serving tray by Kensington is a treasure.
Designed by the prominent modernist designer of the 30's Lurell Van Arsdale Guild, this 11-1/4" by 5-3/4 small serving, celery tray was marketed by ALCOA in their decorative arts gift-ware line called Kensington. The line was launched 1934.
An aluminum alloy gives the metal a whiter color than could be made with pure aluminum. Signed with the Kensington Logo on the back. This item has some slight scratches and signs of wear and previous love.
